Gary has always led a spiritual life, having witnessed unexplainable phenomenon growing up in Hawai'i such as glowing orbs of light, fireballs, and haunting drums in the hills. His dreams have always been vivid, including extraordinary worlds that seemed so real and perhaps have had an influence on his style and subject matter of art. Having studied painting in college yet receiving a degree in Architecture, his passion for design has always led the way and you can see that influence in his temple paintings. His many travels across the globe have imbedded a deep sense of interconnection with all beings.
